Alcoholic mad scientist Rick Sanchez and his grandson Morty Smith take a break for once, but even this goes awry. Here is a review on the season’s sixth episode titled Rest and Ricklaxation.

Plot Summary
After one of their toughest adventures yet, the eponymous characters decide to take a break for once in a while, but even being at a spa has its consequences, whether it be major or minor.
Discussion
In the show’s most insane episode yet, the audience learns that perhaps too much of a good thing can be a bad thing, and too much of a bad thing still has its drawbacks and detriments. It teaches us that we–as human beings–need that proper balance in order to sustain a normal life, but what exactly constitutes as normal these days? Rick shows that deep within the darkness that lurks within us, there will always be a speck of goodness. He also has a neat invention that transforms into a Voltron-esque figure.
Rest and Ricklaxation also has elements akin to that of an unaired episode of Dexter’s Laboratory titled Rude Removal. In the episode, the genius protagonist and his closest relative enter a machine that separates their good sides from their bad. Check it out below:
